Bihar state has ever been the source of knowledge and reverence. District Patna has stylish value in all areas of Bihar for its various specialties, the streams and rivers around have made it evergreen. Hence, it was called the land of flowers in ancient time. Azeemabad had been metropolis for hundreds of years of Hindustan. Sher shah Soori and prince Azeemushan made it the centre of his administration. On 1037 hj. as 1627 the companion of emperor Shahjahan -Saif khan become the governor of Bihar. In his era, there was built Eid Gaah which is still situated at locality Sadiq in North West. From chawk to bank of the river a big Madarsa and mosque were built. Only the name of this locality remained as memory of Madarsa. But the mosque is still situated. This city is the biggest city of Hindustan in respect of knowledge & reverence and Islamic culture & civilization. Lord Mahaveer founded Jain religion on this land which got incomparable acceptance. And thrived all over world from this place, Mahatma Gautama Buddha also preached the world the lesson of humanism, peace and chumminess. There convened a conferential meeting of executive council education board of Bihar & Jharkhand on 10 January 1988 at 2 pm at Madani inn (Patna junction) under chairmanship of Hazrat Maulana Abubakr Qasmi Noor Allah Marqada. In which, some very important proposals were accepted. The two proposals were important.
1.There should release monthly exponent according to financial condition.
2. There should be established a standard institute Patna city.
For these resolutions Maulana Muhammad Qasim sahib Damat Barkatahum the fore principal Madarsa Islamia Shamsul Huda Patna the communication chairman Madarsa Islamia Arabia Bihar had started struggle. With mercy of Allah as the result of struggle & hard work of Maulana, these both resolutions were completed. There crept a desire in the heart of Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Qasim Sahib Damat Barkatahum to establish a grand educational institute according to resolution of religious educational board. The search for land had been started for the purpose and locality to locality wandered in search of the suitable place. So first & all he held meeting with trustee of mosque of Kumharar Patna, and discussed about the establishment of Madarsa on the present land belonged the mosque. Perhaps the establishment of Madarsa on this land was not accepted to Allah. Therefore the trustee of mosque did not give permission. After this Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Qasim Sahib Damat Barakatahum did extreme efforts to establish a Madarsa on the land of this mosque but all in vain and could not get the land. Hazrat Maulana Damat Barakatahum was not disappointed but had been continuing struggle in search of proper place. When he could not get the land for Madarsa in west, he turned to east, taking haji Bilaluddin with him, they left for Sabalpur .
SABALPUR
sabalpur is a small locality situated along the Ganga canal attached Dirarganj police station at the distance of four miles from north to east, which was populated by Muslims landlords in an era. There is an embank on the river. There was an old grave yard in its North West. It’s some part had drained in river. There is a well which contains door and stairs to get in (which is ruined now) below, there built two double storey rooms with verandah that is now lard with the name "The well of British". It is also called "Swami Bawili" at the time of partition; the quarrel of Hindu & Muslims ruined this area. The houses of Muslims were snatched by others, at present, there are about fifty families of Muslims are settled, and with grace of Allah a mosque. There is (tomb) of "shahlemon" in west of road in front of this, there was a small mosque, 2 rooms and fifty land was barren. There had been a mango orchard in this barren land was the habitate of insects & the cattle. There was the dump of garbage inside the mosque. The travelers passersby used the rooms Hazrat Maulana visited the mosque of Sabalpur with Haji Bilaluddin Sahib on Friday. There had a seminar on importance of religious education after Namaz Juma, met the head Jia Ul Huda, he took to Sami Ahmed sahib in company of Haji Bilaluddin sahib, Maulana Sayyad reached the home direct at main street Patna. you saw that a man was milking the cow and his hands were caked with stray & folder etc. Meeting the person Maulana told that he had wanted to see Sami Ahmed sahib, he went in his house direct you to sit down after a while he come out wearing clean to this on neat body. Offering a cup of milk to Maulana he said, "Yes sir" tell me what is the matter? I am the person you are looking for. I am Sami Ahmed myself. He had no acquaintance with Maulana already.
Introducing him, Maulana expressed his intention that he wished he would have established a big religious institution in Patna city, Sami Ahmed just appositely replied. “What is its mean by me? Without thinking for while, Maulana just proposed for the land of Sabalpur. As soon as he listened Sami Ahmed handed over the land to Maulana saying "Maulana I am obliged of you not you are obliged of me"
This land was property of the heirof late justice khaleel Ahmed late chief justice Jameel Ahmed M.L.A. late justice Khaleel and late Jameel Ahmed were the sons of late Faseeh Ahmed who was a landlord. Sabalpur & Lodi Katrah Patna was their (motherland). The patrons of this land were Sami Ahmed sahib son of late Jameel Ahmed & Ameer Ahmed son of late justice Khaleel Ahmed & their relatives.
Actually in 1903, the real owner of the land wrote a legacy in which he said, “There must be established a Madarsa, a mosque and inn. If my progeny would fail to perform this pious action, I permit the demos to take this land from them and build regarding buildings.” But this noble action could not be performed according to his desire and the land had been barren till 1988. In 1988, the patrolman of land handed it over to Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Qasim Sahab as the implication of ancestors. Though the ancestors were sincere and devoted to Allah and his religion Islam, so Allah made his dream true by Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Qasim Sahab Damat Barkatahum, by doing the work of construction of his desired building as wrote legacy.
Few months later, he held a meeting with engineer Ameerudin sahib the son of Justice Khalil Ahmed Sahab and their brother and sisters. The discussion was done on established of Jamia Madnia. They all became agree for the establishment of Jamia Madnia. They all gave permission and the land was consignated to Maulana Muhammad Qasim.
The year was really the best year for Patna-the capital of Bihar and especially for Sabalpur. On this day, at Sabalpur there was building a spiritual, literary and national Institute. In 1989, Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Qasim Sahab the preceding principal Madrasa Islamia Shamsul Huda Patna had founded a free institute named by “Jamia Madnia” by the sacred hands of Maulana Sayyad Arshad Madni Damat Barkatahum-Hadeeth Teacher Darul Uloom Deoband. And inauguration was organized with his prayer. At the of inauguration, there were present Hazrat Maulana Sayyad Qari Muhammad Usman Sahab Mansoorpuri Damat Barkatuhum Hadeeth teacher Darul Uloom Deoband, chairman of Jamia Ulema Hind besides them entire Sabalpur, Patna city Maulana Muhammad Qasim Sahab Damat Barkatuhum founder Jamia Madnia had started this institute just with Rupees Two Hundred only because he believed in mercy of the owners. At opening he was quiet provision less and there was neither a building nor class. He started education with four students only at Bhagalpur an effected area with rebellion in 1990.
Maulana started efforts with the name of Allah. It was great mercy of Allah that Jamia Madnia proceeded to amazing progress step by step after its installation. If the aims are noble and curiosity to do something Allah definitely gives success. Today, there 750 orphans and poor children are getting spiritual and epochal education in Jamia. The education in Jamia is given of Hifz, Nazra, Persian, Elementary, Arabic upto sixth standard. Jamia travels all the expenses of all students such as mess, habitat, treatment and other looking after.
